CALL ME FRANK
The call me frank website has been online for a few days now, it is far from perfect - but at least i made it work properly this time:)

So here's some stuff i've been working on for a little while for school.
They are all re-interpretations of exsisting websites. The goal of the assignments for the first two sites was making a new design for the sites according to their target groups.
The first website I chose was http://dancegrandprix.org/, which was in desperate need of some TLC. It's the Barcelona dance award' official website, and to me it doesn't represent the event well enough (obviously).
Here's a few screenshots of what I did for it.
Second website I did is one for Radio Modern, a Belgian event held every now and then in a fun retro theme with big band music and dance-initiations. Their website was OK I guess, but in contrary to the parties they throw, the site didn't feel like fun at all.
Third one is a remake of the Vimeo website - which is already a pretty good website. Only negative thing is the overload of information and the repetition of that information. So i literally brought it back to basics; Header, navigation, content, etc. To bring some clarity in the design. I don't know if it could be a real vimeo site, but i'm just trying to make a point here. Not finished yet though!

Hi there,
i'm a 20 year-old visual arts student from Belgium. I design websites, make illustrations/animations, fiddle around with graphic design, and the occasional video.
The purpose of this blog is getting my work online and opening up to comments & critisism.
So comments are more then welcome.
